RYA Dinghy Instructor Multihull Endorsement

This two day RYA instructor course provides experienced RYA dinghy instructors with the skills needed to become an RYA Sailing Instructor endorsed to teach in multihull craft.

Dingy instructors are competent, experienced sailors and this course will provide existing dinghy instructors with a certification to teach adults and children, beginners and improvers in multihull craft

The course is ideal for experienced RYA instructors who want to teach in - and have experience in sailing - small multihull craft. On completion of the course, individuals will be endorsed to teach National Sailing Schemes and Youth Sailing Schemes.

Course detail

Candidates who complete their instructor course in dinghies, but who want to teach in multihull craft should obtain the relevant endorsement.

This course is delivered over two days by RYA coaches and assessors and will educate candidates on teaching techniques afloat and ashore. During the course, candidates must demonstrate their pre-entry test skills and teaching techniques. Candidates will be assessed on a continuous basis afloat and successful completion the course organiser will sign their logbook.

Pre Requisites

RYA Dinghy or Keelboat instructor with experience in sailing multihulls

Current recognised First Aid Certificate

RYA Powerboat Level 2

Minimum age 16
