This three hour course provides candidates with the skills needed to deliver basic life support in a variety of work and leisure environments.

This is a hands-on course exploring a range of first aid and emergency situations. The course is ideal for anyone who requires the necessary knowledge and life-saving abilities to deal with everyday first aid procedures.

This Basic Life Support can also be taken as a refresher course to ensure individuals continue to be able to perform the first aid skills they hold a certificate for.

The course covers the role of the first aider, incident and casualty assessment, CPR, care of the unconscious casualty and more.

Course detail

Suitable for individuals and groups, this basic life support course is Qualsafe accredited and takes a theoretical and practical approach to learning first aid in a variety of scenarios.

Practical assessments and a multiple choice exam paper will need to be passed in order to gain this qualification. A course book and handouts will be supplied to each candidate.

Course content will include:

· The role of the first aider
· Incident and casualty assessment
· Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
· Care of the unconscious casualty
· Any subjects pertinent to your environment

On completion of the course, candidates will receive the Qualsafe accredited first aid certificate.
