Saturday 16th March OR Sunday 17th March 2024. 09.00-12.30

This is a "competition style" event, allowing coaches the opportunity to select new athletes for The Locks "Youth Performance Pathway".

The selection is an open event, however due to the competitive/performance nature of the "Squad", we would recommend attending only if youths meet the below minimum standard.

- Currently NICAS Level 2 or above

- Born 2008-2014

- Climbing a minimum of 6a at The Lock

- Can commit to climbing 3 days per week (Inc. Monday and Thursday evenings)

- Can commit to up to 12 months of training

- Has a desire to enter climbing competitions

Following the selection event, those successful will be contacted with further information including format and additional costs.

Depending upon the chosen format, youths will be required to train exclusively on "Squad nights".
